Sims 4 offers you the chance to be someone else while living in the modern world. The goal of the game is to have fun as your character interacts with others. However, parts of it may duplicate the tedium of real life too closely, as in having to monotonously follow the same steps needed to increase skills and job levels. If you want to focus on the excitement of the game and avoid the time-consuming grind, try some of these cheat codes to raise your levels.
You can only enter the codes through the Cheat Console. To display this dialog box, press CTRL+SHIFT+C if you’re on a PC or COMMAND+SHIFT+C if you’re on a Mac. You can then turn on cheat mode by entering either “testingCheats true” or “enable testingCheats” along with one of the skill codes below. To apply the code to a particular character, select him or her.

- Major_Bartending (Mixology)
To advance a career by one, enter Careers.promote (careername) where (careername) is one of the following careers. For example, Careers.promote Astronaut advances a character in the Astronaut career.
If, for some reason, you want to demote a character’s career, use the command Careers.demote (careername) with one of the previous career names.
